Unity Maritime offers Officer Cadetship training programmes to suitable applicants who will be developed to professional certification standards.
Unity Maritime was established in 2012 and owns and operates a fleet of top tier dry bulk cargo ships, with a variety of vessels in the Large Handysize, Supramax, Ultramax or Kamsarmax size classifications.Â
With vessel deadweight tonnage ranging from 37,000 dwt to 85,000 dwt, the fleet can carry a large variety of cargoes, and to load and discharge cargo in a significant proportion of global ports.

Unity Maritime cadets can follow a Deck (Navigation), Marine Engineer or Electro-Technical (ETO) professional pathway.
We are currently taking applications for Unity Maritime’s cadet intakes in January and September each year. Applicants must be EEA nationals and resident in the UK for a year prior to starting training.Â

Over a three year training period, Officer Cadets will follow academic programmes at a designated college for their shore-based training elements, while undertaking the required sea service and professional training aboard various types of vessel.
