Just Be Maritime is registered as a Training Provider and Consortia Company to facilitate funding claims on behalf of our clients under the Government’s Support for Maritime Training (SMarT) funding scheme.

We will initially register your newly recruited Officer Cadets on the SMarT scheme, before then processing and tracking the monthly claims on your behalf.

All data relating to these SMarT claims will then be securely stored by JBM, as required in support of the associated audits.

For eligible Scottish cadets who are studying in Scotland, an additional source of funding may be available from the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS). SAAS provides funding support by paying their academic tuition fees, as well as offering bursaries and supplementary grants.
