Just Be Maritime Ltd (JBM) is delighted to confirm that its Officer Cadet Management Services have now been engaged by Red Funnel Ferries, whose new Officer Cadet training programme will be operated as a joint venture in partnership with the Corporation of Trinity House
Red Funnel have been proudly operating ferries to and from the Isle of Wight for over 160 years, now operating an up-to-date fleet of purpose-built Ro-Pax vehicle ferries and Red Jet Hi-Speed passenger catamarans between Cowes and Southampton.
The company provides ferry services for 365 days a year, with 30,000 combined sailings carrying 3.4m passengers and 0.86m vehicles annually.
Their three year Officer Cadetship will allow successful candidates following Deck and Marine Engineer training pathways to qualify as Officers of the Watch, with the added possibility of employment with Red Funnel as their careers progress.
