One of our Officer Cadets has deservedly won a significant navigation award at Warsash Maritime School’s recent Summer 2024 graduation ceremony.
Deck Officer Cadet Hannah Jones is sponsored by Maersk Supply Service, and was awarded the John Milner Prize for Navigation. This prize is sponsored by the Royal Institute of Navigation for the best overall performance in navigation by an Officer Cadet following a Foundation or Honours Degree certification programme.
During this event, Deck Officer Cadet Ella Gambell who is sponsored by the Corporation of Trinity House also gave an appreciative speech of behalf of all the graduating Deck Officer Cadets.
Hannah and Ella are pictured here at the event with Stuart Benge, Operations Director of Just Be Maritime. Stuart said “We are delighted that Hannah’s hard work and professional progress has now been recognised by this award, and we would like to congratulate all of the attending cadets for successfully concluding their cadetships.”
