As our Maritime Recruitment Officer, Erin’s primary focus is supporting the initial recruitment, selection and onboarding of Officer Cadets, engaging closely with both the cadets and their sponsoring companies.
This key role supports a smooth recruitment and onboarding experience for our new recruits, while sustaining our talent acquisition efforts through the maintenance of high standards of compliance and efficiency.
After initially achieving vocational qualifications in Beauty Therapy and Business Administration, Erin gained sea service experience with Carnival Cruise Line before moving ashore into office administration with CTS Europe in 2015, progressing to become the company’s purchasing lead.
Erin then worked as a Business Support Executive at National Museum of the Royal Navy from 2018 to 2021, covering a range of business support and administrative functions.
In January 2022, Erin joined Chiltern Maritime as an Assistant Training Officer, supporting administrative duties on behalf of the Officer Cadets under training. Advancing to a Training Officer role in May 2022, she then took on responsibility for the ongoing management of the cadets during their three-year training programmes.
In August 2024, Erin was promoted to Senior Careers & Training Coordinator, holding responsibility for the effective placement of cadets for sea service placements and involving direct liaison with shipping companies, training providers and cadets, until she then joined us at JBM in March 2026.
